Hey, hey now. I’m 31 today!

Hold, up stop the record…I’m how old? I kid. I’m 33! And I am feeling fabulous. And I just wanted you to know that! Here I am, on my sweet Schwinn that my family purchased. We’ve been a bit strapped since Dubai and while I wanted a $800 version of this bike, I will settle for this one from Target because, let’s keep it real, my husband is the one bringing home the bacon and I just smile and wave!

She came flying into life quick as a whip. At first we thought she would be quiet and reserved but as soon as she could talk and walk, she has kept us all a little on or toes and laughing.

I love this girl with all my heart. I cannot believe she is six. She always has a song in her heart and the rhythm that goes with it in her step.

Happy Birthday, my sweet Ella. You make me smile. You make me proud. You make me a mommy.

It’s President’s Day! We have a day off! The Mister is home from learning those kids. The girl’s are home from being learned and the dance studio is closed. Ahhh, we got nothing to do. President’s Day used to be Washington’s Birthday but now, it’s just good ol’ President’s day. Not sure why, and I really don’t want to google it.

But hey, if the school district is paying people to enjoy the day, I will gladly do it!

This girl has got flava. From head to toe. Crystal Criscione was the fabulous make-up artist I worked with during this styled shoot. Well, it was her turn to step in front of the camera so she can bring out her alter-ego…R&B chick with a little bit of street. She just so happens to have a gorgeous voice, too and I know that she will be taking off soon as a sizzling R&B singer Go, Crystal, go.

I spend a lot of time at Academy of Performing Arts in Downtown Tracy. The girls have been there since 2008 and to see them develop into amazing dancers with amazing foundational skills makes me hopeful that this will help them become disciplined adults that can manage to stay off of updating their status every hour on Facebook. Wait, huh?

These were taken way back in 2010. If you’ve been following my blog since then these have already been posted. But I lost my old blog and still want these to live somewhere on the internet and not just my hard drive.
