About

Growing up I had this notion that owning a camera was a luxury. That the old 35mm slr my mother owned back in the 80s was sacred and as a child if I touched it, there would be consequences. There were only a few photo albums in our home with varied coverage of mine and my brothers youth. Fast forward to decades later. When I met my husband he was an art student, taking fine art classes (and he was fine, too, hee hee) in college and he would eventually become a B&W photography teacher. His access to a dark room opened up a whole new world for me and I began to see the world through a viewfinder, even when I wasn’t holding a camera. I saw the art in living, the beauty in growth and I cherish all of those moments.

I never imagined that after some twists and turns and alterations in what I thought was my master plan I would end up behind a camera lens on most weekends clicking away and being able to witness love, joy and beauty at a masterfully planned event. My name is Kia Gregory. I am a wedding photographer based in Central Valley, California. I was born in England (sorry no accent), raised in Southern California and just recently, my husband and I now call Northern California our home. And we couldn’t be happier. My evenings are filled with chasing our girls around the backyard, walking our 11-year old dog to the park and just being in the company of family and friends who like to laugh and like to love. Again, I never imagined that this is what my life would be but now I couldn’t imagine anything but.

As a wedding photographer I take the qualities that are unique and individual to your day and capture them so you are able to cherish them forever.

I do believe that is all. When are we scheduled to talk, hmmm? hmmm? Drop me a line and I’ll call you back or if you want you can call me right now!
