So, it’s 11:10 PM. I got in 15 minutes ago from second shooting a wedding in Napa. I am tired but thankful. As I was driving I noticed that I temporarily lost my mind and engaged in the following hazardous behavior:
Driving and texting at the same time.
Driving and searching Mapquest.
Driving with one hand on the steering wheel while the other hand is taking out my contact lenses.
Driving with one eye closed because I couldn’t get a grasp on the second contact lens in order to take it out.
Driving and typing in the one audible line of a song I really like into google because I have the free version of Shazam and I can’t tag the song since my five freebies are gone. I think it’s called Tumbling Down, or something?
Driving and making a mini music video using my iPhone to the song that I just discovered was by Keane.
Listening to that Keane song, called Spiraling (even though I still think it should be called Tumbling) on repeat for like 45 minutes cause the lead singer kinda sounds like a young David Bowie with a softer accent. And the bass drum in this song kinda rocks.
So, if you got anything from this personal share, it is to watch out for me on the road because you might see me making a turkey sandwich next time.
And, just because I will be humming this song for the next 24 hours, here is Keane’s, “Spiraling.” Enjoy it and have a good week! (Don’t let the metallic body suit alarm you, it’s a kid friendly video).
