Miks SiblingsMan alive. I have never laughed so hard at a session in my career. Loved working with the Barb’s family. Barb is a dance instructor over at the Academy of Performing Arts. Everyone in her family dances except for her husband, Ken. Ryan is the oldest, then Rachel then Kenny. I have seen Kenny and Rachel dance and they are brilliant! Here’s a shot of the “kids”.  More from this session to follow!

Found a little spot for some shots right when the sun was setting and adding some beautiful warmth to the rows of trees.

Love these images. Can you tell I am proud of my work, and blessed to work with my awesomulous (awesome and fabulous) clients? Love my job!

OK, so I have to post this lil’ set of Danny.

Why more of this lil’ guy?

Well, he turned two. And two is that age that you are gaining independence BUT you can’t verbalize all your wants and needs. Two is when you’ve moved out of that baby stage. There might be a growth spurt involved so you begin to look a little older than a toddler.

And for Danny’s mom, I want her to remember him with these somewhat chubby cheeks. Those long eyelashes. That little pout. Look in his eyes. You can see he has that wonder. What’s going on over my shoulder? In six weeks he will change, in six months he will change yet again, and next year, he might not even look like this little two-year old that I had the pleasure of chasing around one evening!

Ahhh, she was so awesome. It was a great day to shoot these, too. It was around 5 PM when we met up. Maybe 5:30. I don’t remember.

I was excited because I have been putting all my new skills to the test. The skills I picked up from Bloom, and Bryan Peterson’s “Understanding Exposure” and just having my camera with me everywhere these days. There are a some cool spots to shoot in Downtown Tracy and you will start to tell that I am a creature of habit and will hit the same places up because they work for me, they work for my clients and it takes the guess work out of this job.

Anyhow, more with Kellie that awesome senior from Hughson High. Love the tee! Love the wear on her jeans. Love it. Love it. Love it.

Audrey definitely rocked her session despite the wind that was blowing like crazy in Mountain House! Ain’t she pretty? And the wind made her hair look MAH-VE-LOUS! When we met for our session she hopped out of the car with a Nordstrom and Victoria’s Secret bag. And she was ready to bring it.
I like talking to my clients during our sessions. Especially the high school ones. My former career was a high school counselor with a college and career focus. So my first question is always, “what are your plans after graduation.” Half of my clients answer, “I’m not sure.” And others think they have their plans all mapped out from graduation day until they walk across the platform to get their college degree.
Audrey knew which way she’s headed but not sure what her definite plans are. And you want to know what? It doesn’t matter? She plays water polo at Tracy High, her parents are awesomely supportive of all that she chooses to do with her life, she has a younger sister that is pretty much her best friend. She is planning on heading into San Francisco when she graduates an to a community college to save some money (smart girl!) With plans to study some sort of career in communications.
Good luck, my dear! Thanks for making my job easy!

Of little man! He has the best eyes and lashes. I love how his mama put him in a black undershirt. For some reason it makes his skin creamier and his eyes bluer!

Whenever I have a senior session I always think of America’s Next Top Model. I want my senior session clients to bring it. Bring the clothes, bring the accessories, bring the fresh faces and WORK IT! Be fierce. Sorry, I watch too much TV.

Kellie came to me from the city of Hughson. It’s not too far away from Tracy. And I am pretty sure she is the prettiest senior at Hughson High! Thanks, Kellie! You worked it, and I love all of your images! BEAUTIFUL!Tracy, CA

WOE! I had to work for a few smiles from Danny, for sure! He was in a mood. Mainly because he’s two and because he cannot stand the site of my camera! We walked around a bit through Downtown Tracy trying to peak his interest. Thanks Kellie for bringing out little man! It’s always fun for me to pull out all the stops to make a lil’ guy smile. I still owe him some candy! Tracy, CA Photographer
